Originally from Colorado Springs, Dr. Michael Billingsley graduated from USMA West Point with his field artillery commission in 1968. He worked in the Medical Service Corps for three years during dental school and is a retired colonel with the Army Dental Corps.
Dr. Billingsley earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1973. He was awarded the Pierre Fauchard ACAD and participated with Alpha Omega fraternity while in dental school. After a one-year general practice residency at Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Dr. Billingsley completed a three-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. In 1982, Dr. Billingsley was awarded board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS) and is a Fellow with the organization.
At Middle Georgia Center for Cosmetic Dentistry in Warner Robins, Dr. Billingsley supports our restorative and cosmetic dental practice by providing specialty care right here in our office, including dental implant placement, wisdom tooth extraction and surgical procedures with IV sedation. Dr. Billingsley and his wife, Diane, have one daughter, Rebecca. Away from the office, the doctor enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with his family.
